Fahrenheit 9/11 Jan 28. 054
I just finished watching Fahrenheit 9/11 on Channel 4.
Pretty shocking stuff, although I was a little dissapointed that it glossed over the actual events of September the 11th when there is still so much confusion surrounding what really happened.
Channel 4 are supposed to be hosting a web chat with Micheal Moore right now (11:30 onwards) but I think the server may be struggling with the traffic. Shame, coulda been interesting.
I watched it last night too, it did nothing but confirm my fears about the Bush family.
I think Moore can be accused of twisting the facts to suit a little, I mean no mention of the British and all our people dying in Iraq. (Not unlike Saving Private Ryan!)
Nice quote from George Orwell’s 1984 at the end though, ever read it? I re-read it about a year ago – scared me silly!
Yes there was some dodgy editing for sure, and there were a few tenuous links… I did a bit of a search on Google right after the show and turned up some interesting stuff in direct response to the film.
To be fair to Team Moore,
they were all desperate to get the film out as early before the election as possible. That haste clearly damaged the film, and today you can find better documentaries on the Bush administration. Still, given their circumstances, they did well; you can read criticisms and fact checking on their own site:

Hi Nathan,
I remember seeing it at the cinema, shocking, but really quite sceptical about the editing though don’t you agree?
It’s been a night of shockers for channel 4, the live disection of male and female genatalia on “Anatomy for Beginners” straight after was definitely another boundary broken too. :/
