Optimus LED keyboard Jan 10. 069

I stumbled across this amazing keyboard design by Art Lebedev Studios a while back. Then just today I saw some linkage back to it via foo reporting on availability as of Feb 1.

Every key of the Optimus keyboard is a stand-alone display showing exactly what it is controlling at this very moment.

No idea how much it’s going to cost, they reckon less than a good mobile phone. They’re even talking of OEM opportunities. Nice.

I’ll believe it when I see the shipping order.

A e-ink based keyboard would probably cost less, not to mention save you money on electricty.

Good point Scott. Does e-ink support colour yet?

They mention e-ink on the website, and something about it being slow. I’ve been dying to get one of these since I stumbled across the website. Can’t wait til they release it, depending on the price!

It looks like there’s a mini version available in May, and the full size beast now won’t be ready until the end of 2006 (they hope).

Computer controlled LED signs use the LED technology stands for light emitting diodes and produces very bright light while at the same time being energy efficient as they do not burn off heat as a wasted by product like incandescent lighting. These signs are used as indoor and outdoor outlets in world’s most cosmopolitan cities.

Is it really possible to get an Apple iPhone for free? Yes it really is possible and there are websites that are legitimate, but you need to able to follow some simple directions. Getting one for free is not as hard as you might think though and people do it everyday.iPhone
