Senocular makes an interesting post about a Fireworks MX 2004 command which allows you to ‘steal’ AutoShapes which are embedded into PNGs. Not only is this a neat observation, but a neat solution too.
Senocular has written another clever little AutoShape for Fireworks, but this time it behaves more like a utility. The Ruler AutoShape allows you to measure lengths and angles across your document. Very neat.
Senoculars new Stroke Path command lets you take a selected element in Fireworks (bitmap, vector drawing, group, etc.) and duplicate it along a selected path. The settings dialog gives you option of adjusting path direction, rotation orientation, spacing, and accuracy.
Senocular has a new Fireworks AutoShape available on his site which allows you to easily create ‘Heart’ shapes. It consists of 4 points for controlling features entitled “Breadth”, “Cleft”, “Vertex”, and “Vertex Arc”.
I’ve made the source files for my Fireworks ‘Main Toolbar’ command panel available to download.
The ZIP archive includes:
- Command Panel Artwork
- Command Panel source (FLA)
- Command Panel (SWF)
- Macromedia Extension Package source (MXI)
