Web Developer

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Creative Services Director you will be joining a young and bright team in the design department. You will be involved in the technical management of the studio and responsible for ensuring that Creative Services is kept up-to-date with current and emerging technologies and trends. You will be a proactive individual with at least 5 years web development experience and a thorough understanding of web accessibility and CSS style sheets.

You will take the lead on any technical projects from scoping, resource assignment through to delivery and ongoing maintenance. You will also be required to manage and maintain the internal intranet and TMB corporate website, keeping both up to date and dealing with any new feature requests. You will take responsibility for the Studio server in relation to backup and retrieval. Opportunities to grow the technical side of the business including training and development of other members of staff will also be available to the right candidate.

Key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Creative Development including programming, database design and development and Flash Animation
• Expand and manage R and D and technical output for Creative Services
• Assist in day to day technical management of Creative Services facilities and provide secondary support to TMB as a whole
• Build and maintain new technologies foresight initiative
• Assist in building technical/creative portfolio for studio

Technical skills:
Web – HTML, PHP, CSS, ASP, SQL, Action Script, Dreamweaver and both SQL and Access databases.

General Skills – Photoshop, Director, Flash. All round knowledge of the web environment including server management and set-up. Excellent written skills and ability to produce technical pecification and proposals also a must.

Personality:
Communicative, self-motivated, detailed, organised, flexible, highly imaginative and innovative. Able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
